Purpose IIContinuing from the previous post. lamp post. bleah.
So i was talking about how lucky we are and what situations we're in right now, we're still considered very lucky. or really just born in the right place and the right time.
I was also talking about how society is not giving enough. That is very true. NOT everyone is using his/her full potential, even me i admit.
These holidays i have not been doing much. Still, i wanna be productive, so i took a step into the library and got some books to read. All my life, esp in pri and sec sch. i have not read enough. Hey, "wake up and read up" i said... and this hols is a good time to do so. So i spend my time slacking at home, reading books and occasionally going out to school for ccas. Books that interest me are the self improvement ones and also the business ones, currently reading on selling. gotta buy books on Organisational Development as recommended by Josh. DUH, that subject is important if i wanna run a successful organisation esp in the future.
1 more thing, My Nikken Business has not really taken flight yet, somewhat still in the cockpit in maintance works, the petrol cant seem to get in fast enuff. My engine motors are not fully functional. Then again, if i really wanna take flight i can. i will. just need to be more motivated and careful with my words esp with people, selling is kinda tricky so need to get the hang of it. its really like steering a airplane, tried those arcade ones and i crash, need to be educated first ya on the HOW TOs. I also don't wanna spoil market with my friends in poly especially cause i dunno them well enough yet and i am not a salesman but a relationship salesman. big difference ya, i do not wanna sell just for money only! I also wanna say that pls pls pls youngsters out there, don't get conned by venture era, their not an established company and the compensation plan is rubbish. its like a company void of any morals... not much at least in my point of view. + products are either not the best of the best and not even patented + their prices exorbitant and unfair. They are also not even a R n D company (that's very impt in the health care industry). so if u ever wanna get into network marketing... always always, always do reasearch and PICK THE RIGHT COMPANY (nikken) haha shant advertise much.. any questions u know u can ask me =).
Anyway enough of that, kinda like a commercial break, time to get back to being moral....
So i identified the problem of not giving enough. it is through my clear observation that it is very saddening to see our society turn out this way esp the youngsters. they ARE very kind, loving, caring youngsters out there, usually more than those that are rotten, no morals, ignorant of people, lousy attitude.. list goes on... kinda people. Hey, those that are neutral arent doing much also... neutrality cause us to be selfish... without even knowing... I do not expect everyone to be very hardcore and serve the poor or underpriveledged every single week or smthng... At least do something meaningful and good to light up not only your hearts but their hearts during the holidays or occasionally at least... you will feel much better giving back to society , esp the underpriveledged in that way, volunteery work i mean. there are other ways to contribute, save water, recycle paper. our environment is another area we take advantage of and do not give back, mother nature.. i wonder when will be the day when everyone will notice where he/she is throwing his/her used papers, in the bin or a separate bag to recycle. Only when we're desparate right. yar. do think twice though. the effort of making the paper is more then it being burnt and buried.ever since young, i always take the conscious effort to save paper, cause maybe was influenced by the tele on how trees were being used to make paper and how forests are diminished by truckloads day by day.
There are many other ways to give back to society, so far these are the 2 that i experienced and concern me the most so i just share la.
Of then again, charity starts at home, so the home environment must be right in order for u to have the right mindset also, but i will be touching on a real scenario. hey, the media aint doing us any good either. the dramas on channel 8 that i watch involve so much needless anger and quarrel everytime that its hard for you to not accept into your subconscious mind which affects how u will react towards others if there were such a similar "quarrel" incident. These are esp bad for kids cause in the long run, that's the type of bad behaviour one will develop towards his/her family and esp to outsiders cause its already ingrained as a character trait of the child. tough luck man. best is to not let people watch these. really is like poison to the mind and building of character. worst of all if the parents follow such a way of dealing with things as they are influenced as well. Utter rubbish and childishness in those dramas.
I have said more than enough in this post. It is a matter of me knowing all these and sharing with you people and how i feel , you may oppose or agree with the things i said or have different views about it, do leave a tag or msn me and tell me about what u guys feel or think or heard about as well and I shall learn from all you good people.
bye bYe.

PURPOSEOk time to blog again. wanna blog morally now. Hey you there! sitting down, having the chance to surf the internet, sipping a nice cold drink, having a fan or air con cool you down, ever thought about how lucky u really are?
Well, talking about luck have u ever treasured the fact that you actually came from the 1 sperm of your father and that 1 egg from your mother who incidentally live in Singapore? I dunno if you do, but i definitely do! It may be God's plan for me or you to be born here, fate as they call it, destiny as we live it.
I have always believed that there is a creator, there is a higher being, who was always here and there, within us and without us, surrounding us, God as we call him or her.
Most importantly, he or she has plans for us and
purpose for us being born in this place, this era, these parents. I believe our WHY is most important. WHY do we live? what is the purpose? If we have a clear view of that, then we will lead a better and more fufilling life. A Purpose-Driven Life.
Well,
My purpose is to love and be loved, to seek to understand others and experience what gifts they have to offer, accepting it. To carve out my dreams, making them to realistic possibilities, achieving them in the end. Also to trust whatever life has to offer for my journey towards happiness, health, wealth and freedom.Getting back to the fact of being lucky to be born in Singapore and enjoying what we have now especially. We often should give back. well though that is not in my purpose, it is in my head, a idea popping up from time to time. One that is influenced by the fact that there are many not so lucky people in the world, not only in Singapore. I jsut discovered shockingly, Poverty is widespread affecting almost half the world's population. Diseases such as HIV and AIDS need to be tackled quickly.. figures show 14000 are infected by it EVERYDAY. Sure, things are really doing well here, economy is booming, govt is great, standard of living is high, so is the stress, which means quality of life is rather down (MANY NOT HAPPY PEOPLE IN SINGAPORE)
But, the big question is, when we have enough what will we do next? Want more? and more and more and more and more? Wayward thinking man. the more we give the more we get, it is NOT the more we get then the more we give. Seek then you will find, knock and it will be opened, Ask and be answered. from the bible. What society is doing is the totally opposite. We wanna get everything for ourselves first then we give. However, in the darn process of getting what we want, which is usually by getting a job and working HARD... okok shall continue another day.. tired liao..

Belief SystemsThis post shall focus on belief systems.
I want to touch on, as well as elaborate a little on our belief systems, this is something very valuable that i learnt from my mentor and the book The Power of Your Subconscious Mind.
What is a belief? It is something which you hold true in your mind. So is it a fact or is it just a plain opinion?
The ans : A Downright Opinion
Opinions that can be changed. A belief is just a post-it note in your brain. It is colour coded, very easy to spot and also useful such as a belief. An advantage of it being a post-it note is how your are able to take it off (If you don't like it) and place a new note, maybe a much more improved one.
Another example can include the idea of shifting house. What you hold true in your mind is like the existing stuff in your current house (current mindset), whether you want to shift all of those things (be it useful or not useful, good or bad) to the new house (new mindset) is absolutely up to you. Of course you could and would want to shift only the things worth shifting ( good stuff ) , so pls pls pls, leave the bad stuff behind, it wants to stay behind, let it be a past, don't bring it into your Bright future home.
I must admit, sometimes it is very hard to change your beliefs, especially when u decide to begin to. But hey think of it as changing to reach a new level of satisfaction. You will never never like to keep those negativity in your body, soul and spirit. We are given a choice, to choose what we want to belief, avoiding pain or to move towards happiness. MOVE TOWARDS HAPPINESS. GO AWAY FROM PAIN. CHANGE YOUR MINDSET BECAUSE U CAN!
I am happy today and will only look on the bright side of things!

The Holidays BeginThe Holidays have finally begun for me. 1 semester in Poly has finally ended, always looking forward for .the next 5.
Life is really such an adventure, be it in school or outside of school.
Inside school, all that matters is really study and cca. Friendship is always a bonus, it doesnt really come as naturally as it should have. Well maybe a few have left an impact in my heart but do they hold me as same regard as them? I really dunno, but action shows ya...
Outside school, it is where my family really is, I am not talking about my own family which consists of my father, me and grandmother and uncle. It is more of the Outsider family, strangers who became good friends, best friends for life. Friends from SJI, my father's friends, my nikken friends.
Friends is such a big topic but anyways there is a contrast of friends who love and friends who are just plain... "there to say hello and goodbye" .
well.. that's all for today, watch out cause i will be blogging more often.
Expressing my thanks and gratitude to those who read.
